"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."  James 1:27
"Learn to do good.  Seek justice.  Help the oppressed.  Defend the cause of orphans.  Fight for the rights of widows."  Isaiah 1:17

God makes it clear, when children are suffering, it is our responsibility to intervene.  We all have a part to play in helping to stop injustice. What will your part be?  The aim of the CRS is to help you find out how to use your unique giftings, talents and calling to minister to the least of these.

Who is the CRS for?
The CRS is for those who are ready to take the next step in finding out how to obey God's command to reach out to those in need, in particular the most vulnerable in society.  God wants to use you - are you ready to take the next step?

Children at Risk / Field Assignment

An integral part of the CRS is the six-month (6) field assignment, during which students work with ministries, government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGO's) and other YWAM programs that serve needy children.

This field assignment gives students opportunities to test principles and skills learned in the classroom. Through continued research, case studies of individual children and planning an implementing a project, the students further develop their skills for serving the needy.

Where will I go?

The field assignment will most likely be within Latin America, we will decide on exact locations once the school has begun and we see what opportunities open for us for that time.

How much is this going to cost me?

The basic fee is $3,000 (USD) for a Central American field assignment.

If we go outside of Central America, you will have to raise more finances to cover the airfare and/or additional expenses associated with the particular location.
